Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August, 2025

At ChefNChop, we are committed to delivering exceptional food and service. To ensure fairness and clarity for both our clients and our team, we have outlined the following refund and cancellation policies for our catering and prepared meal services.

  1. Catering Orders (Events, Private Parties, Corporate Functions)

Booking & Deposits for catering:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total quoted amount is required to secure your event date.
  • Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the event.

Cancellations:

  • 7 days or more before the event: You may cancel your booking via a phone call or in writing (email or letter). Your deposit will be retained, but any additional payments made will be refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund will be issued. However, if possible, we may offer a credit toward a future event (subject to availability and management approval).

Rescheduling:

  • We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests with at least 5 business days’ notice, subject to availability. Deposits may be transferred to a new date.
  • Prepared Meals / Meal Prep Orders

Order Changes or Cancellations:

  • Orders may be cancelled or modified up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable, as ingredients and labor will have already been allocated.
  • Same Day Orders cannot be cancelled after order has been placed and paid for.

    Refunds and Credits

  • Refunds (when applicable) will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
  • In cases of dissatisfaction due to food quality or service, please contact us within 24 hours of your order/event. For same day orders, notify is as soon as you receive the order.

While refunds are not guaranteed, we value your feedback and will work with you to find a fair solution, which may include a partial refund or credit toward a future order.

Force Majeure

ChefNChop is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, or emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or offer credit where feasible.
